“Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”

“Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, for whoever is not against us is for us.

A resource and forum for agnostic Christians around the world.

Coined in 1965 by theologian Leslie D. Weatherhead, the term “agnostic Christian” refers to someone who finds deep meaning in The Bible’s teachings, and may even identify as Christian, but hesitates to profess belief in supernatural matters or agree to a specific creed or statement of faith.

In the secularized and industrialized western world, agnostic Christians are beginning to emerge within and without traditional faith structures. Agnostic or atheist ministers practice in multiple denominations, most notably in the Canadian United Church and the Dutch Protestant Church. Internationally-renowned psychologist Jordan Peterson has unleashed a flood of interest in the Biblical stories through his Biblical lecture series, creating thousands of quasi-Christians in the process.

This website is intended as a resource and forum for people engaging with Christianity from non-traditional angles. You can contact the administrator at zachary [at] zacharystrong.net.

[A] person who is immensely attracted by Christ and who seeks to show his spirit, to meet the challenges, hardships and sorrows of life in the light of that spirit, but who, though he is sure of many Christian truths, feels that he cannot honestly and conscientiously ‘sign on the dotted line’ that he believes certain theological ideas about which some branches of the church dogmatize…His intellectual integrity makes him say about many things, ‘It may be so. I do not know’. (Leslie D. Weatherhead)
